Gujlon E35 is Nylon 6 Polymer used in Extrusion
GSFC operates the largest Engineering Plastic Nylon 6 plant in the country, boasting a rated capacity of 25,000 MT. The primary raw material for producing Nylon 6 is Caprolactam, which is sourced from its own production facilities. Gujlon is the trademarked name for Nylon 6 chips produced by GSFC. Nylon 6 is characterized by its toughness, lightweight nature, resistance to abrasion and shock, corrosion resistance, heat resistance with a high melting point, low specific gravity, electrical insulation properties, and dimensional stability. This material does not require lubrication and can be machined and finished similarly to metals. Gujlon is available in various formulations including general-purpose injection molding grades, glass fiber reinforced grades, plasticized grades, and extrusion grades to accommodate a wide range of applications.
